A PRAYER FOR HEALING (from the Book of Common Prayer)

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort

and relieve your sick servants, and give your power

of healing to those who minister to their needs,

that those for whom our prayers are offered may be

strengthened in their weakness and have confidence

in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord,

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and forever.

“One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.”

Margaret Grundy is now the point of contact for both the Ring of Prayer and the Healing Prayer List. She can be contacted on (01530) 460305.

The people on the Healing Prayer List list will be in our prayers for another month. After that time, unless you tell Margaret otherwise, they will be removed from the list. Similarly, if you know of anyone who should be added to the list, please advise Margaret.
