We are all members of one church family at St. David’s, and so we should all be linked
together in love - but we cannot hope to have a close relationship with everyone.
The aim of our Pastoral Link is to create a network of relationships so that no-one
need to be overlooked or lonely.
The scheme has about 20 Visitors, commissioned annually, who keep in touch from time
to time with those to whom they are linked. Most members of the congregation have
chosen to be members of the scheme, and value the opportunities of talking with their
Visitor, including the sharing of joys, sorrows and concerns. If there are problems,
the Visitor may be able to help directly, or refer the matter to the most appropriate
person.
